Dr. Matthew Stone is originally from Springfield, Illinois, where he grew up with his parents, 4 brothers, and a plethora of animals. It was early in life that he began to appreciate the importance of the human-animal bond.

Upon graduation, he attended Oklahoma State University and was awarded his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine.

Between personal pets and internships, Dr. Stone has worked on a multitude of animals, including cats, dogs, lizards, snakes, birds, primates, and pocket pets. He enjoys working with all types of animals, from large to small, furry, scaled or feathered.

She has two rescued dogs, Kiwi and Charlie, and she also works for All 4 Paws, a local non-kill shelter. Heather spends her free time with her wonderful husband and their beautiful daughter.

Paige Courtright

You could call Paige the resident cat whisperer and cat cuddler. Of course Paige loves dogs too, but cats tend to converge upon her wherever she is found. A former Charleston resident, Paige has lived here in Pawleys Island for the past 16 years. Veterinary medicine is a new career path for her and she is enjoying every minute of it! Paige is a mom to two amazing teenagers, one dog named Jackson, and three cats Meesha, Boozy and Sasha Fierce (a.k.a. Kitten). Paige enjoys spending her free time with her kids at their sporting events, including football and cheer. She can also be found hanging out with her friends and family on the river or at the beach.
